He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jirina; and his daughters, Anne and Mary (John McLeod).
He worked as a tool and die maker, and until the Covid pandemic was a devoted parishioner of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church and a tireless volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul.
