He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bernie Cormier and George Cormier. He is survived by: his spouse Frances; his grandchildren, Russell, Marcel and Colette; and his siblings, Wilfred Cormier and Germaine Cormier.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Russell are asked to consider The Royal Canadian Regiment Museum.
