She was predeceased by: her parents, Iona Pequegnat and Dr. Leon Pequegnat; and her husband John Major. She is survived by: her children, John (Denise) and Heather; her grandchildren, Jill (Dan), Hugh (Alexandra), Michael, Daniel and Jason; and her great grandchildren, Gemma and Eden. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
