The memory of Ruth Watson (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 99, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Corbett and Francis Staton; her husband Jack; her daughter Maureen Ruth (Michael); her brother Howard Corbett; and her sister-in-law Ruth.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim (Lynda), Bill (Elisa) and Doug (Sue); her grandchildren, Andrea (Chelsey), Brendon (Jenna), Caelan (Jessy), Siobhan (Kirubel), Luke (Ruth Ann), Bruce (Alyssa), Benjamin (Angela), Amanda, Daniel (Meghan), Joshua (Jamie), Christina (Michael), Timothy (Natasha), Erin (Blain) and Lauren (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Adelynn, Everly, Aubrey, Paisley, Jack, Lewis, Mycah, Oakley, Isabel, Wallace, Brody, Hazel and Sophia. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Westway United Church (8 Templar Dr, Toronto, ON M9R3C7). A reception was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Prospect Cemetery (1450 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1C6).
