He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenico and Maria; his uncle Antonio Ciccone; and his father-in-law Peter Cristillo. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Nadia (Joe Bruzzese) and Jason (Ivana); his aunt Annunziata Ciccone; his mother-in-law Giovanna Cristillo; his siblings, Liberato (Susan) and Linda Cristillo (Rocky); Sam. He is also survived by his wife, children, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elevated ZvGos Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6).
A very special thank you to the friends and family who helped support Sam and his family during his battle with Alzheimer's, and to the compassionate doctors, nurses, and social workers of the Geriatric Unit at North York General Hospital . In lieu of flowers, donations in Sam's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario .
