He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Filomena Lacaria; his children, Elizabeth Umbrello (Vito), Teresa Iafolla (Enrico), Catherine Novielli (Anthony), Vito Valela (Mirella Cesario), Josephine Valela (Carmen Iuelle) and Liliana Lunetta (Silvio); and his grandchildren, Franco Umbrello (Sandy), Laura Umbrello (Matt), Vanessa Iafolla, Tristan Iafolla, Julia Umbrello (Joel), Andrew Valela (Vanessa), Anthony Novielli, Christopher Valela, Daniel Novielli, Alexandra Lunetta, Sarah Novielli and Victoria Lunetta. He was also cherished by six great grandchildren.

Due to the onset restrictions of COVID-19, visitation hours, funeral, and entombment will be held for immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Parkinson Canada, or Baycrest Hospital Centre would be greatly appreciated.
