He was predeceased by: his husband Funia Krongold; and his child John Krongold. He is survived by: his children, Susan Krongold and Susan Bowman; his grandchildren, Nisa Krongold, Matthew Diamond, Rosa Laborde, Ari Black, Natalie Kaufman, Alex MacDougall, Aaron Krongold, Rachelli Krongold and Jordan Krongold; and his great grandchildren, Jaryd, Darya, Rachel, Liam, Ella, Noam, Adina, Yoni, Shaya and Sarina.
