He was predeceased by: his parents, Jale and Celal; and his brother Cihat. He is survived by: his wife Bilge; his children, Baris (Arti) and Pinar (Noyan); his grandchildren, Ela, Sevi, Arya and Mayzie; his brothers, Atilla, Nejat (Gulten) and Iskender; his sisters-in-law, Emine and Sermin; his nephews, Gozde, Müge, Kursat, Isil, Arda, Ajda, Ceren, Emre, Tolga, Asli, Atakan and Berk; and his friends, Engin, Orhan, Erkan and Ünsal.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The family appreciates donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, in lieu of flowers.
