He was loved and cherished by many people including: his pet Charlie; his spouse Kelly Nykilchuk; his parents, Viktoriya and Sergiy; and his parents-in-law, Tim and Carol.

In lieu of flowers, a trust fund for Serge and Kelly's baby has been set up for donations.
