With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shawn Elliot Simpson (Toronto, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Shawn Elliot may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shawn Elliot touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Arthur Simpson and Hazel Simpson; his daughter Cassandra; and his siblings, Anthony and Cheryl. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Grace Christian Life Centre (801 Progress Ave, Scarborough, ON M1H2X4). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Resthaven Cemetery (2700 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1M5).
