She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ralph Mercer and Mildred Elizabeth Mercer; and her sister Marilyn Jamieson. She is survived by: her husband Harold Buchanan; her son Kenny; her siblings, Sandy McKenzie and Bill Mercer (Debra); and her brother-in-law Adam Jamieson. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22 (1240 Woodbine Ave, East York, ON M4C4E4).
