The family announces the passing of Shirley Gail Carmichael (Toronto, Ontario) on September 20, 2026. Shirley, born on October 15, 1934 in Verdun, Québec, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her husband Oliver; her parents, Andy Lowson and Sybil Lowson; and her brothers, Cliff (Barb), Jim (Jo) and Stu.

She is survived by: her children, Doug (Beth), Janet (Ken), Susan (Dan) and Laurie (Rich); and her grandchildren, Hailey, Morgan, Simon, Evelyn, Finlay and Frances. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
