He is survived by: his wife Caterina Leonzia of Vittorio Veneto; his children, Roberto (Leonarda) and Lorella (Anthony); his grandchildren, Marc-Anthony, Alyssa, Milena, Daniel, Christian (Juliana), Amanda, Gianluca and Sebastian; and his siblings, Bruna and Bruno (Silvana).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Silvano's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
