He is survived by: his spouse Ersilia Matera; his grandchildren, Christopher Matera, Michael Matera, Stephen Matera (Jen), Michael Capistrano and Julia Capistrano; his great grandchildren, Tessa, Aubrey and Lennon Matera; and his brother Salvatore.
