She was predeceased by: her husband Leonel; and her siblings, Gloria, Eduardo and Mariana. She is survived by: her daughter Anna; her son-in-law Tony; and her great grandchildren, Maria and Lane.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Homes (2080 Dufferin St, York, ON M6E 3R7). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church (1037 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6H1M4).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sofia may be made to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
