She was predeceased by: her husband Rene. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael (Nikki-Rae), Mallory and Matthew (Stephanie); her great grandchild Meredith; and her grandchildren, Erik, Emma, Paul and James.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be held in the Hastings Community Gardens in Hastings in the late spring or early summer.
In Solveig's memory, donations can be made to the Hastings Revitalization Association or a charity of one's choice.
