It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sophia Stavropoulos (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 96, on November 19, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband Nick; and her parents, Nicholas and Athanasia Stathopoulos. She is survived by: her sons, Peter (Rita) and Tom; and her brothers, Nico, Kosta (Gus), Toronto and Tasso.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S1P4). A prayer will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM at the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Cathedral (136 Sorauren Ave, Toronto, ON M6R2E4). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Park Lawn Cemetery (2845 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X3A1).
