It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of SSS Gabriella Petoniak (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to SSS's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration SSS has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Petoniak and Mary Mainguth of Slovakia. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Rosemary Devers; and her nieces, Stephanie Ogle and Renee Petoniak (Stephanie). She is also survived by her other nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Chapel of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto (2 O'Connor Dr, Toronto, ON M4K2K1). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Sister Gabriella, donations may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto Fontbonne Ministries.
