He was predeceased by: his parents, Josef and Aniela; and his sister Mary (Mirek). He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughters, Eva (Mark) and Alisa; his stepchildren, Missy (Clint) and Aron; his sister Sophie; his nephews, Michael and Robert; his granddaughter Violet; his stepgrandchildren, Willa and Mac; and his friends, Hym, Wanetta Cheung, Pam and Harry Erlichman.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Copernicus Lodge Foundation or the Alzheimer's society of Canada.
