He is survived by: his wife June Murphy; his children, Debra Cooney (Rob), Karen Prophet (Randy) and Tracy Babiarz; his grandchildren, Lori Brown (Alan), Ryan Cooney, Steven Cooney (Jess Oud), Scott, Cory, Brock Prophet, Victoria (Jonathan Bega), Alexandra (Shane Fraser) and Connor Moffatt; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Michael, Kaitlyn Runciman, William and Aria Brown; his siblings, Dorothy Wilder and Eddie (late Linda); his nieces, Jodi Wagner (Dave) and Valerie Busch (John); Rick and Fran.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home (2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3).
