We bid farewell to Stavros Petropoulos (Toronto, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 75. Stavros touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Stavros is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Stavros' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Politimi; his son Evangelos (Alia); his granddaughter Sofia; his child Kaliroy (Dimitri); his grandchildren, Leonidas and Alexandros; and his daughter Angela (Remi).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Cathedral (136 Sorauren Ave, Toronto, ON M6R2E3). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (1567 Royal York Rd, Toronto, ON M9P3C4).
