We bid farewell to Stavroula Papaioannou (Toronto, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 26, 2025 at the age of 84. Stavroula touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Costa Koukoudimou and Maria Koukoudimou; and her sisters, Evanthia and Eleutheria. She is survived by: her husband Athanasios (Tom); her child Chris (Annie); her grandchildren, Stavroula, Sophia and Natasha; her child Costa (Susan); her grandchildren, Athanasia, Thomas, Christina and Michael; her daughter Vivian (George); her grandchildren, Anastasios, Athan and Nicholas; and her sisters, Christina and Antonia.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr, East York, ON M4H1H8). A burial was held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at the Calendrier Elgin Mills Cemetery (1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill, ON L4S1M9).
