He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria and Bolesław; and his brother Jurek. He is survived by: his former wife Danuta; his daughters, Monika and Olivia; and his siblings, Wiesia and Tadeusz. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation (Toronto), in support of the cardiology fund.
