He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Thomas and Margaret Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Elvira Elana Thomas; his sons, William and Richard; his grandchildren, Chadwick Steven Thomas and Jessica Elizabeth Thomas; and his sister Margaret Lukacs.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes (6191 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2M4K4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
