He was predeceased by: his brother Donald. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael, Patrick, Katherine, Teresa and Rachel; and his daughter Maggie.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Toronto's Aphasia Institute in Steven's honour, an organization that provided Steven with an incredible community in his later years.
