She was predeceased by: her husband Walter; and her siblings, Lil, Basudai and Bhanu. She is survived by: her family, New York and Toronto; her grandson Hari; her sisters, Barbara, Gangadei and Chandroutie; her children, Kalowatie (Raj), Abhi, Bhashkar (Susan), Phanindra and Raywat (Brittany); and her grandson Harrison. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Highland Hills Memorial Gardens (12492 Woodbine Ave, Gormley, ON L0H1G0).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the children's charity Operation Smile in her memory.
