She was predeceased by: her husband Peter B Shone; and her parents, Drs Murray and Janet Ross. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer, Stephen (Jennifer), Jim and Kelly; her brother Rob Ross (Beverely); and her grandchildren, Madison, Gavin, Rachel, Stella and Owen.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Susan's memory to one of the charity funds closest to Susan's heart. Havergal College Janet K. Ross Scholarship Foundation (Please indicate the name of the scholarship fund when donating).
