Tai Sato Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Tai Sato (Toronto, Ontario). Tai, born on October 27, 1918, passed away on July 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Tai for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chikara Kumagai and Sato Kumagai; her husband Jishiro Sato (Jay); and her siblings, Ray, George, Cecil, Yosh, Shine, Lenny, Kay Umetsu, Mary Takahashi and Helen Kumagai.

She is survived by: her siblings, Rei Miki and Ken Kumagai. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
