With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tekla Zionko (Toronto, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Tekla left this world on July 20, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Tekla may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Tekla touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cardinal Funeral Homes (92 Annette St, Toronto, ON M6P1N6). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Demetrius the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church (135 La Rose Ave, Etobicoke, ON M9P1B3). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery.
