Teresa Podgorna Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Teresa Podgorna (Toronto, Ontario), whose life came to an end on December 11, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kazimierz Zacharzewski and Stanisława Zacharzewski; her husband Jan Podgorny; and her daughter Krystyna Bak. She is survived by: her children, Zbigniew (Renata) and Jolanta (Tadeusz); her son-in-law Farmaraz; her grandchildren, Piotr (Tara), Katherine (Wojciech), Dominic (Amanda) and Joanna (Mateusz); and her great grandchildren, Elliot, Aleksandra, Scarlett and Sophie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Poland Parish (625 Middlefield Rd, Scarborough, ON M1V5B8). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery.
In her final years, Teresa lived with Alzheimer's disease and was lovingly cared for by her family.
