She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ruddy (O'Hare) and Thomas Ruddy; her brother Mervin Ruddy; and her husband George Stewart. She is survived by: her siblings, Basil and Frances; her daughters, Crystal Stewart (Ian Rogers) of Toronto and Alana Stewart (Curtis Pollanen) of Cochrane; and her grandchildren, Abigail, Jack and Olivia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home - West Toronto Chapel (1273 Weston Rd, York, ON M6M4R2).
Donations in her memory may be made to St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation – Palliative Care Centre.
