Jim Heller wrote a sympathy message

“We always had a special relationship with Ted because Jennifer and he had Slovenian parents. He used to claim that the Christianization of the Slavic world began in Slovenia with St. Cyril in the 9th century. We never argued with him about the matter. We loved to hear him perform classical works on his double-neck guitar. His quiet warmth and dignity never failed to touch us. Ave et salve, dear Theodor! Jim and Jennifer Heller”

“My sincere condolences to all of Ted's family. I will always have many warm memories of when we worked together as part of the Toronto Gurdjieff group. I know he was a loving father and I'm sure that his spirit will still live on in each of you and that he will be long remembered by his many students. In sadness for your loss, Sincerely. Judith Ketcheson”
