It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Theodoros Miragias of Toronto, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 86, on November 18, 2023. He was predeceased by: his wife Despina Miragias; his siblings, Christina Fefekos and George Miragias; his parents, Konstantinos Miragias and Paraskevi Miragias (Pardali); and his sister Vasiliki Genovezos.

He is survived by: his children, Vivian (Paraskevi) and Gus (Kosta); his grandsons, Solomon and David; and his brother Niko.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Adult Day Program at the 33 Winona Drive location of the Hellenic Home for the Aged, a program that provided invaluable help, support and companionship to Theodoros when he really needed it.

“As a long time friend of Vivian I had the pleasure of spending quite a bit of time with her dear father Ted. He came up to my family cottage with his beloved wife Despina, and in later years would talk about how much he enjoyed it. I will remember his great bbques in the backyard and beautiful garden, his dapper dressing and fantastic hats! He was a very sweet gentle family man and will be missed by many. RIP Ted, love Debbie McFater”
