With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomai Vakanis (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on July 18, 2021 at the age of 96. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Dimitrios; and her children, Christos Vakanis (Agapi), Zoi Dinopoulos (Bill) and Bessie Skotanis (Stavros).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 20th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home, "weston Chapel" (2035 Weston Rd, York, ON M9N1X7). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 21st 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (1 Brookhaven Dr, North York, ON M6M2S4). Effective March 15th, 2021, as per the mandate of the Bereavement Authority and to safely manage and adhere to social distancing requirements, please RSVP for the visitation and service.
