“We loved him! He adored all the kids and they adored him right back. They weren't taken in for one moment by his pretense at gruffness and loved to visit him in Markham at the "bar" in the basement where all good things in the way of pop and candy were dispensed. Our hearts go out to Pam, Mike, Lorraine, Owen and David who have lost one of the great ones, funny and kind. He did indeed make the world a better place, keeping us laughing all the while.
