As we bid Vanessa farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Vanessa is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her pets, Doby and Button; and her father Virgilio DeFreitas. She is also survived by grandmother, aunts, uncles, beautiful god-daughter, cousins, doting boyfriend and adored friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel of Our Lady of Consolation Queen of Heaven (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5).
