She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Mario; her children, Vince (Judy) and Sandra; her grandchildren, Veronica (Dan), Alexander (Maisie) and Christopher (Daina); and her brother Mario.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (3055 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X1C6).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Vera may be made to Dorothy Ley Hospice.
