With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vincenza Paterna Santoro (Toronto, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gerardo Paterna and Domenica Spadola; her daughters, Teresa (Joseph Martinello), Maria (Frank Kolinek) and Gina (Peter Schafrick); and her grandchildren, Renzo Martinello (Catherine Braunstein), Stella Schafrick and Maxx Schafrick.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave W, North York, ON M6A1C3).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Vincenza's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Dementia Society or Villa Charities.
