“I have known Gino since I was a little boy. Just being in his presence was a joy, his warmth and his laughter were contagious. He had a deep love for Neapolitan music, a total devotion to his family, and an unmistakable joy for life. I will never forget , the day before he was going to immigrate to Canada, when he took me to the Capodici bar in town, bought me my favourite desert, a “ciardone”, and gave me a big goodbye hug.
