He was predeceased by: his brothers, Giuseppe and Francesco. He is survived by: his spouse Chiara (Clare); his children, Sam, Ralph, Tony and Marisa (Marco Terrana); his grandchildren, Gianluca and Sarina; and his siblings, Maria and Vincenzo. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.

In memory of Vito, donations may be made to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Diabetes Canada.
