William Turner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Turner (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Turner and Susan Turner; his sons, Martin Turner (Christine) and Billy Turner Jr. (Kerry); and his siblings, Cassie, Sue, Sheila, James and Sammy.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Turner (Dempsey); his children, Elaine (Tim Kallem), Lesley (Andy Price) and Steve (Susan Moore); and his siblings, Anne Young and Gerard Turner. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters in law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel (2058 Kipling Ave, Toronto, ON M9W4J9). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Benedict Church (2194 Kipling Ave, Toronto, ON M9W4K9).
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to ALS Canada or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
