She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Muttukumaru and Aachiammai; her children, Embilipitiya, Lusaka, Serowe, Lobatse and Gaberone; her husband Sinnathamby Magendran; her siblings, Sivakumarathas, Baskarakumar and Uthayakumar; her siblings-in-law, Varaluxmi, Vijayaluxmi, Muthupillai, Thilagavathy and Kamaladevi; her children, Vidhya and Sadhyesh; and her children-in-law, Sugy, Appammah, Avni, Kailash and Ela. She was also cherished by her family and friends.
