He was predeceased by: his parents, Margit Benczik and György Benczik; his siblings, Ella, Zsuzsi, Rudy, Mihaly, Arpad and Sylveszter; and his siblings-in-law, Pia Rausch and Konrad Rausch.
He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Benczik; his sons, Zoltan Benczik (Jeanette Benczik) and Leslie Benczik; his grandchildren, Devin Benczik and Renèe Benczik; his brother George Benczik (Livia); and his sibling's children, Krisztina Benczik and George Benczik.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
