He was predeceased by: his parents, Christaan Marchand and Toos Marchand (Versteeg); and his sister Marijke Marchand. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Marchand; his children, Karen Weldrick (David) and Derek Marchand (Charo); and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Adrian Wilkinson), Dr. Meagan (Landon Roth) and Jorge (Karla).
