He was predeceased by: his brother Bruce; his sibling's children, Lisa and Brent; and his parents, Thelma and Duncan.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his siblings, Duncan (Pauline) and Diane; his siblings' children, Shelley, Tanya (Craig) and Erik (Cindy); his sisters-in-law, Sylvia and Lorna (Scotty); and his close friend Mike (Jill). He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
