He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Gillies (Clarence) and Bob Beers; his sister Anne Bontje (Greg); his mother-in-law Bridie; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Clarke (Carol), Sheila Kearns (Jeff), Irene Mayer (Keith) and Dave Kearns (Sue).
He is survived by: his wife Anne Beers; his daughters, Melissa Beers (Colin) and Brianna Beers (Steve); his grandchildren, Jackson, Hunter, Remi, Capri and Austin; his siblings, Mike Beers (Juanita), Sarah Topping (Tyler) and Christina Beers; his father-in-law Gus Clarke; his uncle Martin; his aunt Fay; and his nieces and nephews, Jason, Matthew (Mindy), Trevor (Carry), Logan, Cole, Aaden, Elliott, Jamie (Antoinette), Kyle, Lissa (Peter), Caitlin, Ivy, Patricia (Shane), Jayme, Lindsay and Darci Beers.
