He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Gwendoleen Anderson; his children, Michelle Passera (Daniel), Dawn Stewart (Sandy), Glen Anderson (Denise) and Colleen Anderson (Daniel Gibeau); his grandchildren, Caitlyn Herbert (Blair), Johnathon Passera (Elise), Rebecca Passera (Nazari Divrnik), Shelby Malloy (Daniel), Sarah Stewart, Jordan Bodimeade (Samantha Hofmann), Ian Anderson, James Stewart and Kathleen Anderson; his great grandchildren, Lochlan, Logan, Elias, Theo, Brooklyn and Elsie; his siblings, Ron Anderson (late Jackie), Dianne Way, Jim Anderson (Sue), Fern Sadler (late John) and Mary Moylan (Dave); his pet Skipper; and his father Grampa.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. James Church Colgan (2118 Adjala Tecumseth Townline, Tottenham, ON L0G1W0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Al's memory to Margaret Bahen Hospice (https://www.myhospice.ca) or the Southlake Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
