He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Wilhelmina Carney; his children, Sarah Ampleford (Glen), Jason Carney (Karen Vu Nguyen) and Mark Carney (Jessica); his grandchildren, Ava, Claire, Ben, Mia, Liv, Wesley, Addison and Luke; and his siblings, Dr. Phil (Peggy), Louise Rodricks (late Neville), Theresa Rait (Don), Dr. Patrick, Jim (Jenny), Anne Sledz (Michael), Leonard, Edward (Charlotte) and Tom.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rod Abrams Funeral Home Ltd. (1666 Tottenham Rd, Tottenham, ON L0G1W0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. James Church Colgan (2118 Adjala- Tecumseth Townline, Colgan L0G1W0).
