He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret and Clarence; his in-laws, Ken and Leda; and his brother Bob.

He is survived by: his wife Alison Warner; his children, Lesley, Erin (Britt), Katelyn (Jonathon) and Julia (Vitor); his grandchildren, Katrina, Natalie, Eric, Courtney, Thomas, Bridget, Brandon, Evelyn, Jonah and Audrey; his siblings, Peggy, Ron and Patti Anne; and his pet Roy.
