She was predeceased by: her husband John Richard Wales; her parents, William Renfrew and Mary Renfrew (Templeton); her sister Margaret Meikle; and her siblings-in-law, Brenda Wales, Ursula Aitkin, Frank Wales, Howard Wales, Charles Wales and Roger Wales.

She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Mary Solomon (John) of Port Dover and Elizabeth Anne Mosher (Peter) of Whistler, BC.; her grandchildren, Michael Solomon (Kate), Carrie Richardson (Michael), Mark Mosher (Christa) and Douglas Mosher; and her great grandchildren, Carter Solomon, Blake Solomon, Rachael Richardson, Connor Richardson and Freya Mosher.
